I had to add an extra 8 rounds to the neckline to get enough decreases in otherwise it would have been an off the shoulder number. Four of the rounds are in the armpits and four in the collar. It means this version looks slightly different to the original but hopefully the differences aren’t too noticeable. If John gets a new sweater in season 3 it had better be just one colour. Trudi (who was on Episode 3: Victoriana & Granada) is an EPIC knitter. Not only did she make the pattern for John’s cable knit number from Series 1, but she played around with the epic Christmas jumper. The actual pattern is still under copyright, hence why this is a little bit different from the screen version… but look at it! It’s beautiful! <3 <3 <3 Marie is one lucky so and so! xD (meant in the best way possible)
