The worst is behind us




I'm Bliss, truly Bliss, 24 year old fangirl living large and keeping it weird in Austin Texas.

What you should expect to see here in no particular order: South Park, Harry Potter, Sherlock, Futurama, The Hobbit, Eddie Izzard, Star Trek, Marvel, Doctor Who and Teen Wolf. There is also a fair amount of senseless rambling about my life.

Do any of y’all do airbrush makeup?  

I’ve been told that airbrushing is the best option for me in covering up my tattoos for cosplay and I’d love to talk to someone about it. 



I went to the optometrist today for a check up on how I’m liking my contacts. He asked why I even wanted contacts if I don’t plan on wearing them much to which I explained that I needed them for modeling. He scoffed, actually scoffed, and asked what kind of modeling I do. Excuse you!

Don’t you dare hold your stilted standards of beauty to me! I work for a plus size designer, I make and model some beautiful outfits! Art even! And you think you can look down on me? Fuck you very much!

So my Angel’s Take Manhattan Amy was put together sort of at the last minute for a con and isn’t super accurate. Even though I love wearing this outfit out and about, it feels more closet cosplay then actual cosplay. I guess it’s time to start improving it. I think I’ll start by looking for a better jacket.

I’M GOING ON AN ADVENTURE! 



Ikkicon was a blast today. We went to a Dr Horrible live show sing-a-long, and a pannel on the history of Doctor Who. I bought a couple prints and phone charms. I had a blast hanging out with Beth all day and met some great people. Except I’m sorry Doctor, but Bilbo is not going on any of your adventures!
